An active way to sightsee

This 5km urban stroll lets you cover a lot of ground as you walk from 7m at the riverfront to 233m altitude at the top of Mont-Royal. You won’t notice the calories burnt while taking in all the sights! (And if you’ve had enough, you can always skip the walk up the “mountain” at the end)

A mix of city and nature

The tour ends with an optional walk to the top of the forested Mont-Royal park where you can take in the most breathtaking view of Montreal and spot all the places you saw throughout the tour.

"I took the river to the mountain tour, which was a lot of fun and good exercise too! We walked through old town, made a stop at a beautiful cafe located in an old bank, saw some of the underground city, walked through McGill campus, and made our way up the mountain! I enjoyed the tour immensely.”
